Center Region: More than 65 million FCFA for the rehabilitation of two prison infrastructures

The companies ETS SIFCAM and Société Seth Sarl have been declared winners of the contracts relating to the execution of the works.

The courtroom of the courthouse of Ekounou, in the city of Yaoundé will soon experience a makeover. Indeed, Laurent Esso, Minister of Justice (Minjustice) has just published the results of the national call for tenders opened in emergency procedure relating to the execution of the rehabilitation works of this infrastructure.

It will be rehabilitated by the company ETS SIFCAM for an amount of about 27 million FCFA for a work period of 4 months. The infrastructure has been showing signs of dilapidation for several years. Swallows and other small critters have already taken up residence on both sides of this courtroom which sees hundreds of people passing through daily during the hearings.

In the same vein, there are also plans for the rehabilitation of the regional delegation of the prison administration of the Center Region, for an amount of more than 38 million FCFA. The work planned to last 4 months, will be carried out by the company Seth Sarl.
