Particularly interesting: the Bavarians maintain a cooperation with the Texans. With five teammates, Pepi was already a guest player in Munich’s youth teams in January. Seems like the attacker made an impression.

He’s also able to do that in the North American professional league MLS. Pepi scored twelve goals in 23 games this season. That, in turn, brought the 1.85 meter man in September, in addition to being appointed to the MLS Allstar Team, the first nomination for the US national team. In the 4-1 win in Honduras, Pepi scored a goal and two assists.
