LOS ANGELES (AP) – Jayson Tatum led the Celtics from the three-point line and finished with 34 points, and Boston held the guy Friday to beat the Los Angeles Clippers 119-115 without Paul George.

The Clippers could have used the best 3-point man in the NBA. But George, who has a 48% shooting average from long range shots, was out with a sore right foot two nights after making 8 of 9 of three goals in a win over Cleveland.

Lou Williams scored the Clippers’ final seven points, including a triple from the left corner that gave them a one-point lead with 46 seconds remaining.

But the Celtics sealed their victory with six consecutive free throws and caused the Clippers’ third loss at home.

Kawhi Leonard had 28 points and 11 rebounds for Los Angeles, but missed all five of three. Williams finished with 18 points off the bench.

Kemba Walker hit 24 for the Celtics, who made 16 3-pointers, two off their season high. Tatum scored five of those baskets, one of his best records of the course.
