The Boston Celtics fell by one point at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis with a 108-107 final score with Jayson Tatum’s final shot to win the game that went wide and ended with the second straight loss for those led by Brad Stevens in the first meeting of this two-game straight series against the Indiana Pacers.

The game is the classic tale of two halves that we have written so many times and you are as exhausted from reading as you are from reliving. The first half of the Boston Celtics was good, with a superb second quarter from Jayson Tatum who took over the green offense to take a 55-49 lead at halftime.

El novato Payton Pritchard He added good minutes again, showing himself confident facing the basket and daring at all times for decision-making.
But then, the second half was a terrifying ghost tale with a famished Celtics showing no momentum or courage in the third quarter. A 12-0 streak to start the quarter that ended up being unleashed about 17 points behind in a scary quarter. Again, the Celtics did their best to lose the game and that’s how it ended.

Still, the Celtics had a chance to win the game after a couple of sequences that included a steal and a foul for additional points to Domantas Sabonis both committed by Robert Williams, but the Tatum’s shot went wide when he could have attacked the rim and with it, the victory went to the Pacers 108-107.

The duel will be repeated this Tuesday, in the same city and against the same rival to come out of the two consecutive losses in this difficult start to the season for the Boston Celtics.
