There was late drama in the UEFA Champions League group stage at Celtic Park on Wednesday as Pedro netted a stunning winner to help Lazio secure a 2-1 success against Celtic.
Late substitute Pedro impressed off the bench and gave Lazio the lead five minutes into added time when he headed home. The striker, sent on after 83 minutes, finished into the bottom right corner after combining with Mattéo Guendouzi.
Matías Vecino also found the back of the net as Maurizio Sarri’s side won, Kyogo Furuhashi on target for the home side.
Furuhashi had opened the scoring for Brendan Rodgers’ men in the 12th minute with the goalkeeper able to keep him out despite being called on.
