Today is Christmas in American time, but the NBA has ushered in unfortunate news.
NBA Boston Celtics legend KC Jones died on December 25, US time at the age of 88.
KC Jones is a legendary Celtic player. He was a teammate of Lord of the Rings Bill Russell in college. Jones has won 2 NCAA championships and 12 NBA championships-11 of them were won in Celtics, 8 times as a player, 2 times as a head coach, and once as an assistant coach.

As soon as the news came out, many people mourned the legend of the Celtics on Twitter, including his old teammate and friend Bill Russell. Russell posted a photo of him and Jones on Twitter, saying: “I just received a call. My former roommate, teammate, and everyone’s good friend KC Jones left us this morning. Bless his family. We. I have been friends for more than 60 years. This photo is our last photo, dedicated to my friends forever! #2020烂透了#RIP”
