The Celtic Scottish Premiership season got off to a gloomy start as they lost 2-1 away to Heart of Midlothian on Saturday night and Craig Gordon played a key role.
Ange Postecoglou’s team was knocked out of the Champions League at the hands of Midtjylland in the middle of the week and they were hoping to return to Edinburgh.
However, a weak defense against Carl Starfelt’s new signing led Hearts to take the lead and former Bhoys ace Gary Mackay-Steven opening the scoring.

Celtic still found a draw from an incredible source when right-back Anthony Ralston embarked on an adventure ahead and beat the home team to equalize.
However, Hearts took the win as defender John Souttar headed home with a late free kick and sent Celtic home empty-handed.
There was some irony late in the game when Hearts goalkeeper Craig Gordon made not one, but two great defenses by rejecting James Forrest and Carl Starfelt.
Gordon was a Hearts hero, as he secured three points for his old club, and Celtic were still looking for a stable goalkeeper to replace Gordon.
Vasilis Barkas and Scott Bain couldn’t do that, and Gordon’s double defense last night challenged Celtic fans in action on Twitter.
Some felt that Celtic’s track record had disappointed Gordon to focus on two goalkeepers who are simply not as good as Gordon.
Others called the situation a “joke”, believing that last night it showed a difference in a trusted guard like Gordon.
