Defender Gustav Lagerbilke faces a quick exit from Celtic, with the club said to be willing to “listen to offers” for a summer signing.
The £3million signing from Elfsborg was the hero in the Champions League victory over Feyenoord as he scored a late goal at Celtic Park, but has not played for the Scottish Premiership leaders since their win by 2-1 over Motherwell on Saturday 30 September. Before his decisive goal in the group stage, his final minutes in a Hoops shirt came with a group of B team and key players in Dundee for Cammy Bell’s testimony.
And it may already be time at Celtic Park with Brendan Rodgers set to clean up the squad in January, focusing on his defensive options. The Daily Mail reports that Celtic are “willing to listen to offers” for the 23-year-old and allow Lagerbielke to leave and pursue regular first-team football this season.

Nat Phillips also looks set to return to Liverpool when his loan expires, while Yuki Kobayashi will also be allowed to leave to increase his playing time. This means Mike Nawrocki and Stephen Welsh look set to compete with Cameron Carter-Vickers and Liam Scales for a starting spot at centre-back.
The Scottish champions are also looking to sign stars with the ‘likely’ arrival of Thiago Arago from Estoril. Mattias Qvistgaarden is also back on Parkhead’s shortlist for January, with the club showing interest in the Brøndby striker last summer.
