Celtic Club Make New Offer For Boyz Star In Last Few Hours

Italian side Atalanta have come in with another bid for Celtic midfielder Matt O’Riley, but face the need for further development.

O’Riley is the man Atalanta want to replace Teun Koopmeiners, who is expected to be sold to Juventus once the midfielder arrives in Bergamo.

But it has been extremely difficult to get O’Riley out of Celtic and Atalanta have failed with many offers.

Now, in the last few hours, Atalanta have submitted a new offer to Celtic for O’Riley, according to Italy Sky.

The offer is a better offer, but it is still likely to be rejected.

Atalanta are still looking to do more to win the race for O’Riley, who has also attracted interest from other clubs, including Brighton.

Brendan Rodgers has continued to play O’Riley for Celtic despite transfer interest and he started at the weekend in the Scottish Premiership.

O’Riley is believed to have detailed personal terms in place with Atalanta should an offer be accepted.
