“Four Seasons” is Antonio Vivaldi’s violin concert of 1725 and is one of Vivaldi’s best-known works. Each of the seasons has its own specific character and development cycle: Vivaldi depicts a hot summer, with birdsong, thunderstorms and rain, imitated by the violin – expressive, fast, expressive and intense. It is possible that in honor of the hot summer of 2021, the musicians published their interpretation on August 31, the last day of this summer. Although I have played the Vivaldi cycle “Four Seasons” often, I am still surprised by how much nature there is in this work, and it inspires me to find a new interpretation every time. It’s very beautiful music! ” excited Daniils Bulajevs.

Antons Trocjuks and Daniils Bulajevs have been known in the classical music environment for a long time. Playing together, it was revealed that musically both think in the same direction and the recorded composition “Summer” is only the first step towards a joint program consisting of famous classical music compositions and also something from popular music. “Daniel reminds me of my own youth – it was so interesting to be aware of it. That is why we are so comfortable, we understand each other quickly, and we complement each other, because we are similar. Every meeting and even more so performing with Daniil is like going back to the golden age for a while, it gives me a uniquely cool feeling. I am younger than ever! ” reveals Anton Trocjuk.

“It is very easy to work with Anton, because he, like me, is always looking for something new in music. We do not stop at one option. We try one hundred and one variants for the phrase, “strikes” and then choose the best variant that both will like. He is a virtuoso cellist and a wonderful person. I am really pleased with our cooperation, ”says Daniils Bulajevs.

The young violinist Daniils Bulajevs is one of the brightest, internationally recognized Latvian stars in classical music. He spent August in master classes in Germany, in September he will be back in Latvia. Antons Trocjuks, on the other hand, is known to the general public as one of the musicians of “Dagamba”, and is currently working on his solo album. The duo of Trocjuk and Bulaev also plan to record a separate album.
