Céline Dion has to pay former manager $ 13 million | Entertainment

entertainment">The singer and ICM Partners, the company of Prinz, signed a multi-year tour contract worth $ 489 million in 2017. The contract ran until 2026, but because Dion failed to pay the commissions ICM Partners was supposed to receive for this deal, her manager ended the partnership in 2019.

entertainment">Dion and her lawyer argued before the disputes committee that Prinz demanded too high an amount for his work. The singer states that he had only worked on the deal for a few months and should therefore not receive a salary ‘for a few years’.

entertainment">Prinz and Dion have worked together since 1989. The disputes committee ruled that Prinz’s question was justified on the basis of various agreements that he, the singer and her now deceased husband and former manager René Angelil had made.
