A number of art stars offered their condolences to the late Ashraf Abdel Ghafour, as the great artist Lebleba, the star Yasser Galal, the artist Nermin El-Feki, the artist Laila Ezz Al-Arab, the artist Firdous Abdel Hamid, the director Mohamed Fadel, and the artist Rania Mahmoud Yassin attended.
Abdel Ghafour passed away from our world yesterday evening, Sunday, at the age of 81, following a traffic accident he was involved in with his wife on the Egypt-Alexandria Desert Road. He died and his wife survived.
The funeral of the late artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafour was held yesterday afternoon, Monday, from the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed, in the presence of a large number of artists who were keen to participate in the funeral and console the daughter of the late artist, Reham Abdel Ghafour, who has been experiencing great shock since learning of the news of his death yesterday, Sunday. Among the most prominent stars who participated in the funeral were Ahmed Al-Sakka, Ahmed Helmy, Mostafa Qamar, Donia Samir Ghanem and her husband, the journalist Rami Radwan, Ahmed Al-Saadani, Hanan Mutawa, Mohamed Riad, and Dina El-Sherbiny.
Also present at the funeral were Mervat Amin, Wafa Amer, Karim Fahmy, Hamza Al-Aili, Hossam Dagher, Ahmed Badir, Ashraf Zaki, Ihab Fahmy, Basma, Hala Shiha, Hana Shiha, Salwa Muhammad Ali, Suhair Al-Morshedy, Mahmoud Al-Hadini, director Ahmed Shafiq, Muhammad Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, producer Mohsen Al-Baghdadi, journalist Amr Al-Laithi, Iman Al-Assi, Dalia Al-Behairy, Bushra, Sayed Ragab, Nada Moussa, Nihal Anbar, Hoda Ramzy, Liqaa Suwaidan, director Ashraf Fayek, Mounir Makram, Muhammad Ali Rizk, Mahmoud Al-Hadini, Muhammad Abu Dawoud, director Ahmed Saqr, Fattouh Ahmed, Muhammad Al-Sawy.
The artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafour passed away before completing filming of his latest artistic work, “Black Point,” with Ahmed Fahmy and Nahed El Sebaei, which is being filmed in the Lebanese capital, Beirut. Abdel Ghafour finished filming 80% of the events of his role in the work, and 20% remains for him, including important scenes. The makers of the series began developing concepts and suggestions about dealing with the rest of the scenes of the late artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafour in the work.
