Earlier this month, it came as any “Sex and the City” fan has been waiting for years. The sequel series “And Just Like That” came on the streaming service HBO Max, and suddenly Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbs and Charlotte York were back in our lives.
Carrie’s husband John James Preston, popularly known as Mr. Big, also got the fans to see him again.
However, the series ‘success has faded in light of something completely different than the series’ viewership and charm.
Actor Chris Noth, who plays the popular Mr. Big, has been in the storm for the past week, after three women have appeared and accused the actor of sexual assault.

First, two women stood out The Hollywood Reporter, and the case meant that a third woman also chose to stand up through Daily Beast.
Noth has denied the allegations.
– The stories are completely fabricated, and the alleged events that are described in detail only seem like bad fiction, said a representative of Noth to the website People Friday, and added:
– As Chris said yesterday: he has never, and would never, cross that line.
The actor has also questioned the time the women have chosen to appear, as the meetings are said to have taken place several years ago.

Kicked
The serious allegations have had major consequences for Noth.
When the first accusations came, he was soon after dropped by his own talent agency – A3 Artists Agency, and on Monday it became known that he had also been fired from the TV series The Equalizer with immediate effect, writes New York Post.
“With immediate effect, Chris Noth will not film more episodes of The Equalizer,” Universal Television and CBS said in a statement to the newspaper.
However, the actor will still be seen in upcoming episodes of the series that have already been recorded.
Not only with both the dismissal in the talent agency and the TV series, Noth’s collaboration with Peloton and their commercial for Peloton bikes has also been removed in the wake of the allegations.
Breaks the silence
In the meantime, however, it has been very quiet from Noth’s “And Just Like That …” colleagues, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.

On Monday, however, they broke the silence. In a joint statement shared on social media, the three actors write that they support the women who have come forward with their stories.
“We are very sorry to hear the allegations against Chris Noth. We support the women who have stood up and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a difficult thing to do, and praise them for it “, they write in the short statement.
All three women have shared the statement on their social media.
Stood out
The first two women who accused the actress of sexual abuse were only mentioned by first names, Zoe (40) and Lily (31). They were each interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter about the abuse, which should have happened at two-month intervals according to them.
The women, who are not supposed to know each other, said that it was due to the recent advertising campaign and press releases about the actor’s comeback in the TV series that triggered painful memories of the events they claim happened in Los Angeles and New York in 2004 and 2015, respectively.

The third woman wanted to remain anonymous, but used the pseudonym Ava. The latter is said to have been 18 years old when the alleged abuse took place.
As mentioned, Noth has denied the allegations.
