As England beat Ukraine 4-0 in the Euro 2020 quarter-final match on Saturday night, it felt like football was really coming home and celebrities were in full force to cheer the national football team every step of the way.
The Little Mix pop queens basked in the excited atmosphere ahead of kickoff, with Jade Thirwall making a cheeky play for the team’s inclusion at the last minute as she shared a clip on the group of her hitting an explosive ball in the middle of the hymn group performance Hi.
‘Good luck tonight @england guys. I’m here if you need me, ”she tweeted.
Two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua opted to enjoy the match at his home, posting a photo of himself sitting on the hood of his Land Rover Defender ahead of the start of the match.
Amplifying the hype, he posted: “I stopped by the pub to watch football! What do we say in England .. Izit cammming hommmee? Comeeee onnnn !!!!!! ‘
As the game progressed and England began to dominate, moving away with just one goal and scoring two goals in four minutes at the opening of the second half, fans took to started to revel in their success.

Broadcaster Piers Morgan was on Twitter, congratulating England captain Harry Kane as he scored his second goal of the game.
‘3-0 !!!!!’ he sang, “Sensational cross again by Luke Shaw, clinical finish again by @HKane – England is on fire.”

The former England stars praised the confident team and their flawless display.

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher released a pretty calm celebration of England’s success with a single “It’s coming home”, but EastEnders mainstay Ross Kemp didn’t let us hang for one of his. excited and screaming reactions after the full-time call, although he revealed he was busy filming in Gloucestershire earlier today.

England staged a semi-final clash with Denmark on Wednesday (July 7th), after the Danes triumphed 2-1 over the Czech Republic earlier on Saturday.
Following their quarter-final performance, which pundits have hailed as the most confident and least stressful in years, England will be back to rock fans at Wembley Stadium next week.
