The LOVE Island and Strictly stars are just a few of the well-known faces starring in Danny Dyer’s new reality show.
Scared of the Dark will see eight celebrities step into the unknown where their senses will be taken on the ultimate journey.

Celebrities will enter a completely black space of reality for eight days.
Hosted by former EastEnders star Danny, 45, Scared of The Dark follows celebrities who live in The Bunker, a purpose-built living space that blocks out all light and is equipped with 50 infrared cameras.
Over five successive nights, the show will follow celebrities as they learn about life in the dark.
To exit the Bunker, celebrities simply shout “I’m afraid of the dark” and they are escorted into the light.
To prove their mettle, each of the celebrities will complete a series of challenges designed to test either their primal fear of total darkness or their ability to function in pitch black.
Those who fail their challenges will have to undertake Herculean tasks to keep their place in the series.
Each celebrity will be motivated to conquer their fears because in the end, only one will step into the light as the winner of the series.
The line-up consists of retired bro-boxer and Strictly star Nicola Adams, football legend Paul Gascoigne, Chloe Burrows of Love Island, professional boxer Chris Eubank, Max George of The Wanted, comedian Chris McCausland, TV star Scarlett Moffatt and actress Donna Preston.
But will being in the dark build trust within the group, or will the overwhelming fear of being in the dark cause them to crumble, leaving them to crave for the lights to be on? ?
Of hosting, Danny said, “It might be one of the weirdest things I’ve ever done in my career, and I’ve done a lot of crazy things.
“Throw in a bunch of celebrities and have them do things with the lights off – that’s good TV.
“You’ll laugh, you’ll laugh again and I promise you’ll love it.”
Watching celebrities’ every move, clinical psychiatrist Dr. Tharaka Gunarathne said, “One of the toughest challenges celebrities face is dealing with the unknown; their psychological feeling of uncertainty is at its highest level.
“When you can’t see, your brain fills in the blanks and often imagines the worst.
“When you turn off the lights, your ability to stay safe is suddenly threatened and that’s what makes it particularly scary.”
Scared of the Dark will air on Channel 4.
