Business Class star Harry Mens has an explanation for this, he says in the Nieuwe Revu. According to him, celebrities don’t dare to say no at all, because John de Mol then becomes angry.
Harry: “I have to tell you honestly that I still quite like Johnny de Mol’s new talk show. That’s because he has guests that you won’t get if you’re not John de Mol’s son. People can’t refuse or they’ll get into a fight with John. That is also a basis for making your program. I do believe in it.”

Who does Harry think has the best guests? “If you take the lineup of talk shows, you see it’s the same everywhere. Same subjects, same guests. It is a battle for current events, with Jinek probably in the leading group.”
And what does he think of Khalid & Sophie? “I think that one gentleman sitting there, that lawyer (Khalid Kasem, ed.), is a sweet boy, but he doesn’t keep asking. He sits with a book in front of him and spoons everything up. That’s how it goes with most talk shows. People are getting tired of that. Personally, I prefer to watch RTL Boulevard and I don’t like that.”
