The Korean team, which placed third overall at the Hangzhou Asian Games, returned home today after 16 days of intense competition.
Regardless of medals and grades, our athletes showed true sports spirit throughout the competition and provided great emotion.

The national team players, who returned after showing the value of all the sweat they had shed so far, entered the arrival hall with bright expressions.
Kim Hong-yeol, who won a silver medal in breaking, which was debuted as an official event, served as the flag bearer for the closing ceremony and the flag bearer for the returning team.

The roar of badminton player Ahn Se-young, who fought to the end despite being injured, and the tears of track and field player Kim Kook-young, who won a medal after his fourth attempt, showed what indomitable will is.
The friendship between high jumpers Woo Sang-hyuk and Barshim, and swimming Hwang Sun-woo and Fan Zhanle, who recognized each other after an uncompromising battle, taught us the true meaning of competition.
