Bonn (as). The Bonn Lawyers’ Association had once again invited people to the passenger ship Moby Dick to celebrate the paralegals who had successfully completed their final exams after three years of training in the past few weeks. The best-placed candidates received gifts of money and vouchers from the President of the Cologne Bar Association, attorney Dr. Thomas Gutknecht, and the chairman of the Bonn Lawyers’ Association, lawyer Volker Fritze. Of course, all graduates were celebrated, each of whom was called out individually and personally received their certificates from attorney Markus Achenbach (Chairman of the Department of Education and Training Affairs) along with a bouquet of flowers. The managing director of the Bonn Lawyers’ Association, Annette Führ, pointed out that numerous law firms in the greater Bonn/Rhein-Sieg area still have vacant training positions so that qualified training can start there after the summer holidays. The Bonn Lawyers’ Association has been promoting training to become a paralegal for decades. As the first lawyers’ association in Germany, the Bonn lawyers’ association, in cooperation with the Cologne Bar Association, the Friedrich-List-Berufskolleg and the Reno Bonn eV, has already organized the Bonn Trainer Day seven times, which dealt with various issues from training practice. Information on apprenticeships in law firms is available from the Bonn Lawyers’ Association and the Cologne Bar Association. Lawyer Thomas Hänsel (Tel. 02251 / 6505622) is also available as a training advisor to the Cologne Bar Association in the district of Bonn – there are also plenty of tips at the Friedrich-List-Berufskolleg, at Reno Bonn eV and at www.berufenet.arbeitsagentur.de.
On the Moby Dick, the graduates celebrated their exam results with their trainers, friends and relatives with good food and a party afterwards as part of the trip to Rhöndorf and back to Bonn.
