The Department of Musical Arts, affiliated with the Iraqi Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, celebrated the expatriate Iraqi composer Dr. Helpful advisor.
The evening, which was held in the “Martyr Othman” Hall in the capital, Baghdad, included a welcome speech by Maestro Alaa Majeed, Director General of the Department of Musical Arts, who praised the achievement and the artistic legacy immortalized by Al-Nasih.
Al-Nasih listened to a group of his distinctive melodies that he composed in the seventies of the last century for singers Fouad Salem and Dr. Fadel Awad, with the voice of the young singer Saad Al-Attar, who performed the songs “Shouq Al-Gharib” and “Bahr Aynak”, which had previously been sung by the late singer Fouad Salem, while the young singer Imad Al-Rammah performed the song “Yel Jamalak Somari”, which had previously been sung by the singer Dr. . Fadel Awad.
It is worth noting that Al-Nasih was born in Basra Governorate and completed his university studies there, where he specialized in the Department of Marine Biology and worked as a researcher in the Department of Research and Aquaculture in Baghdad. Then he completed his postgraduate studies with a master’s and doctorate in marine and ocean sciences outside Iraq, and refined his musical talent, and became proficient in playing the instrument. The oud and violin, in addition to his proficiency in composing melodies.
