Did you expect success for your new song, “Dream of My Life”?
= I was confident of success from the first moment I heard the song, whether it was in the words or the melody, and I felt at the time that the song would have a strong resonance because it included a wonderful and beautiful diversity in terms of the modernity of the melody and arrangement and the splendor and romance of the words, as I portrayed it in a new way and thought. Even though the song is Egyptian, you filmed it in Lebanon. Why?
= We actually filmed the song in Lebanon, because I wanted to work with director Fadi Haddad, but there are many songs that I will film in Egypt, and I hope to get to know Egyptian clip directors. I hope to cooperate with director Mohamed Sami in a video clip, as I have collaborated with him before on He directed some clips, so I hope to cooperate with him again, but I do not know whether it is possible for him to return to directing clips again or not?
Who are your favorite artists in Egypt?
= Egypt is full of beautiful voices and big stars, such as Amr Diab, Mohamed Hamaki, Tamer Hosni, and Rami Sabry. They are all singers that I love very much, and I love the voice of Mahmoud Al-Asili very much, as I learned from the artists of the good old days, such as Shadia, and I love the voice of Fairouz, and she is an incomparable artist, and there are many who were influenced, I also like Fadel Shaker and Marwan Khoury.

= We are working as a team in full swing. I and my work team are in a constant state of work and continuous planning to complete new works and projects. As for the next song, we are now comparing between more than one song, and we will settle on it. We will work on completing it as soon as possible so that it comes to light at an appropriate time. .
You sang in more than one dialect.. What is closest to your heart?
= I love the Egyptian dialect, as it is the one I was raised on since my childhood. I grew up in an environment obsessed with Egyptian art, and constantly listening to its giants. This had an impact on my proficiency in the Egyptian dialect, as it is an easy dialect and loved by everyone, and all Arabs understand it.
Why do you rarely sing at concerts?
= In the coming period, you will see Shatha at large concerts and festivals. Perhaps I have been negligent in myself in the past periods, but I will become more focused on concerts during the coming period.
Is it true that you will perform a duet with the artist Rami Sabry?
= This statement is not true. I will cooperate with Ramy in a new song that will be composed by him in preparation for its release during the coming period, and not a duet with him, but I certainly have no objection to performing a singing duet with any Egyptian artist, provided that there is harmony between us, until the song comes out. In a distinctive way.

Have you thought about going into production for yourself?
= This is an idea that is certainly not new to me, as I have produced some of my own songs during the past period, so in the coming period I intend to repeat the experience and produce future songs for myself.
Has social media become the most powerful weapon for singers recently?
=”Social media” is the effective weapon now for most singers, because this weapon is available to all people from different cultures. If it is used well, it will be like sunlight that illuminates people’s lives, while if it is used in the wrong way, it will be like a broken sword that destroys people. its owner instead of benefiting him.
You gave experiences in drama, when will you return to it again?
= I actually participated in one dramatic work in 2013 in two series, one Gulf and the other Iraqi, but I wanted to focus on singing more, because I am primarily a singer, and I have no objection to repeating the experience. I have acting performances and I read artistic works during this period, from which I will choose what is appropriate for me.
What do you think about the business of electronic platforms?
= Electronic platforms contributed to presenting different artistic forms and showed the actors in a new way, far from the ordinary, and this is what I strive for in all my future works.
