The presidency and the system for the integral development of the Monclova family celebrated the nursing staff of the Patricia Municipal Hospital of DIF Blizzard de Páez.
The First Lady of the Municipality and President of the Municipal DIF, Dr. Leticia Carrillo Acevedo, and the Mayor, Dr. Mario Dávila presided over the event, where the 22 nurses received a gift in recognition of their work what are they doing.
Also present at the celebration were the director, Dr. Cecilia Ramos, the director of the hospital, Dr. Armando Morín, the deputy director of the hospital, dr. Alejandro Garza, the assistant director Myrta Diaz, as well as the nursing coordinator, Hector Méndez.
In her message, Dr. Carrillo Acevedo thanked everyone for the dedication and professionalism with which they carry out their work.
He stressed that it is a sacrificed profession in which it must be fulfilled, whether it is holidays, in cold, heat or rain, since people’s health is paramount, “for this reason the need for a good team that it fully respects its obligations,” he said.
He recalled that the work of nurses ranges from preventive health care, to the care of the last days of life of the patient (in the terminal phase), passing through the daily life of the chronically ill or of those who occasionally end up being hospitalized.
“As a doctor and as responsible for the proper functioning of the DIF Hospital, I recognize the importance of your work, which is why the I urge you to continue working for the benefit of our beloved cityMonclova,” he said.
For his part, the Mayor said he was proud that Monclova is the only city where the DIF has a hospital.
