It is the task of all black and yellow to preserve our tradition and to cultivate it with passion and dedication. For this reason, the active fan scene developed the idea of an annual Dresden traditional day in 2016, which since then has always taken place around the club’s birthday on April 12th.
After many great projects in recent years, several big events are on the agenda for the home game against Waldhof Mannheim on Saturday, April 22nd – exactly ten days after the 70th anniversary of our SGD. The active fan scene has called for a fan march starting at 10 a.m. at the Goldener Reiter. Meet at 9:30 a.m. There will be a lot of noise in the streets of our city, which should not be impaired in its beauty. In its social media post, the K-Block made it clear: “Böller stay at home and garbage belongs in the bin.” We can only agree with that.
At 9:53 a.m. sharp, a dynamic car parade will start at the same time in the AOK PLUS Walter-Fritzsch-Akademie. Numerous fans had applied to take part with their black and yellow vehicles. The most beautiful “dynamo cars” are given a start number on Saturday morning and then drive together through the city for around two hours.
The terminus is then of course Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion for both the fan march and the car parade. On the way there, both actions will take a photo together on the Theaterplatz to commemorate that special day forever, on which it should once again become clear: Tradition consists above all of an ongoing, close bond between members and fans and club – in success as well as in difficult times.
