However, there will be various virtual and face-to-face activities to commemorate this very important day dedicated to vindicating the rights of the community, in which sexual freedom is also celebrated with a lot of color.
Traditionally this commemorative date is celebrated on June 28thHowever, the celebrations take place throughout the month of June and until the first days of July.

Infidels This comedy of white and tangled humor begins when a friend arrives to spend a few days at the house of a gay couple. There, 4 more characters will make their appearance and everyone’s relationships will be intertwined by a picture of lies and misunderstandings, where each member turns out to be unfaithful, causing funny situations with which anyone, regardless of their orientation, can be identified. It is presented on Wednesdays at the theater Milan.
Again, a cut glass closet. This one-man show tells us little-known and shocking moments in the life of one of the most important Mexican intellectuals of the 20th century, Salvador Novo, who was the founder of La Capilla Theater. With functions from Thursday to Sunday at the Benito Juárez Theater.
Once upon a time there was a Drag, great stories in short stories. This colorful story, aimed at children as a short story, tells the story of three drags who embark on a long pilgrimage to reach the land promised by the gods, where they will also witness the birth of their new sister . The work is presented outdoors and for free on Saturdays and Sundays at the Alameda Central kiosk.
The cage of the crazy women. An emblematic work for the community, which tells the story of Albin and Georges, a homosexual couple who run a famous nightclub. One day, Georges’ son announces that he wants to marry, however, the future daughter-in-law turns out to be the daughter of an ultra-conservative politician. Given this, the young man asks his parents to hide their way of life and pretend to be a “normal family”, causing endless hilarious situations. It offers performances on Saturdays and Sundays at the Hidalgo Theater.
Each of these works invite us to reflect and some to laugh without stopping, but above all, they teach us to put aside complexes and not to put labels, because love is love and goes beyond our orientation.
