“Celebrate Cannes Film Festival Month with over fifty acclaimed films on Ciné+ and MyCanal”

To celebrate the 7th Art in this month of May marked by the Cannes Film Festival, Ciné+ and MyCanal are offering a selection of more than fifty films celebrated during the prestigious event dear to moviegoers. Extremely rich, the program also gives pride of place to feature films by great masters such as Steven Spielberg and Xavier Dolan, or actor Tahar Rahim.

To celebrate the month of May and its famous Cannes Film Festival, Ciné+ and MyCanal have an incredible line-up in store for cinema-loving viewers. Among the fifty or so works selected to have been presented or rewarded at the Cannes Film Festival, moviegoers will notably have an appointment with “Pain and Glory” by Pedro Almodovar, Best Actor Prize in 2019 for Antonio Banderas (May 11 at 10:50 p.m. on Ciné+Émotion), “The Artist” by Michel Hazanavicius, prize for Best Actor also, for Jean Dujardin in 2021 (May 14 at 10:50 p.m. on Ciné+Premier), “120 beats per minute”, Grand Prix in 2017 (May 20 at 8:50 p.m. on Ciné+Club), but also “Julie (in 12 chapters)” by Joachim Trier, Best Actress Award in 2021 for Renate Reinsve (May 29 at 8:50 p.m. on Ciné+emotion), or even “Fire will come” by Oliver Laxe, Un certain regard Jury Prize in 2019 (on MyCanal).

In addition to their special Cannes Festival selection, the Ciné+ channels will be offering other unmissable events in May. We note on the shelves in particular all the first parts of Wednesday evenings on Ciné+Premier, which will offer “The Event”, “West Side Story”, “The Williams Method” or even “Matrix Resurrections” (including the three parts previous ones will also be broadcast).

From May 6 to 12, Spielberg fans will be in heaven with, to name just a few of the famous director’s films, “Duel” (6th at 11:50 p.m.), “Minority Report” (11 at 8:50 p.m.) or “War of the Worlds” (12 at 8:50 p.m.).

Note that on the 6th, Ciné + emotion will offer a special Xavier Dolan evening, with among other essential films “Mommy”, “Just the end of the world” and “Matthias and Maxime”. It is also impossible not to note in your diary the evening devoted to Tahar Rahim on May 27, with “Gibraltar”, “A prophet”, “The price of Success”, “Don Juan” or even “The Anarchists”. Of course, all these films will also be available at any time via MyCanal.
