Jakarta, IDN Times – An upload that says masks can be the cause of people dying from COVID-19 spreads on Facebook. In the upload, death was caused by the corona virus being trapped in a mask.
The uploader of the information, Dheeraj D’s account, said the mask prevented the virus from leaving the body. As a result, the corona virus is said to have accumulated on masks.
The following is the complete narrative of the upload:
MASKS CAUSE DEATH DUE TO COVID Removing the virus when breathing and sneezing is one of the mechanisms in our body to deal with disease (covid). The mask covers the respiratory tract and restricts the flow of breathing. So masks keep a lot of viruses in our respiratory tract, increase the number of viruses in our immune system, which makes the immune system have to deal with more viruses because the virus is not released.
Is it true that the information contained in the upload?

This condition also indicates that wearing a mask when sneezing does not make a person’s health worse.
Conversely, not wearing a mask can actually endanger the health of others. The use of a mask is part of the correct cough or sneeze etiquette.
“Not using a mask when coughing or sneezing will actually endanger the health of others, because of the water droplets or droplets that spread through breathing,” he explained.
