A Dominican grandmother, Margarita Rosario, died on May 9, 2012 at the age of 86. Recently, her family wanted to bury her again, so they opened the coffin, but they found Rosario’s body. It turned out to be intact, and with a little support, she can stand, just like “resurrection”.
According to the British “Daily Mail” report, Rosario was originally buried in a cemetery in the Jarabacoa (Jarabacoa) area, but recently her family wanted to move her to another cemetery, so the coffin was opened. But to the surprise of her family members, Rosario has been deceased for 10 years, but her whole body bones are almost intact, without much decay, and her skin tissue is also still preserved. Also, Rosario’s skull and hair were hardly damaged.
The report emphasized that since Rosario’s body was nearly complete, he could “resurrect” and stand on his feet with little support. Later, the family also wore a white dress for Rosario and held a funeral ceremony for her. Funeral officer Antonio Abreu said it was the first time he had seen this strange sight after working in the cemetery for 13 years.
The state of Rosario’s remains, local coroner Rafael Domínguez deemed the remains to be “mummified” and the decay process “interrupted”. On the other hand, Rosario’s family believed that her grandmother had done many good deeds during her life, and thanks to her blessings, her body remained intact.
