In Sweden and the EU there are a number of product areas for the sale of which special requirements must be placed on the CE marking. This means that the manufacturer has to prove that he has met the safety requirements and the various directives and regulations in relation to his area or his product.
When it comes to recreational boats, they must be CE marked to be sold in Sweden. We are proud and happy to have done this very solid job on our sauna boats.

Second, this is also the reason why our sauna boats are the only sauna boats on the market that can be insured with real boat insurance. In other words, you cannot buy any other sauna boat in the Swedish market that you can insure against theft, liability, wear and tear and fire under exactly the same conditions as any other boat.
All of this is especially important for those of you who are planning to buy a sauna raft from a club or have it in a hotel, inn, mansion or campsite. Even you who are planning to buy a sauna boat and moor it in a boating club should be aware of this, as insurance is always required for your boat in sauna clubs and marinas.
