The big update to the game title Cyberpunk 2077 many hope will fix the problems the game has been dragged with has now been detailed by CD Projekt RED before the launch.
Cyberpunk 2077 had a lot of hype around them before its launch. Something that was quickly replaced by disappointment from many players. CD Projekt RED’s latest game title has been plagued with a long race of bugs and performance issues since its launch. Something the developers promised will be solved through a series of major updates.
The next major update will be version 1.2. An update that was initially intended to be launched in February. However, the update was delayed after the developer was exposed to cyber intrusion. Now, however, it has been confirmed that the update will soon find its way to players.
CD Projekt RED has now detailed exactly what will change along with the update. These include raytracing support for AMD’s Radeon RX 6000 family of graphics cards. In addition to this comes a wide range of performance improvements and bug fixes. This is for both Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
All in all, there are 77 improvements and changes to the gameplay, 127 mission-related fixes, 34 fixes for the game’s open world, 83 fixes for the game’s cinematic sequences and 37 graphics fixes. As well as 61 additional points for the game’s animations, audio and user interface.
The update will also include optimizations for memory management, the game engine and the rendering engine. All in the hope of reducing the amount of crashes and other stability issues the game has been dragged along.
