Before the hundreds of people who are part of the National Anti-AMLO Front (FRENAAA) who went out to demonstrate in the Historic Center of Mexico City Against President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the Secretary of the Government of the capital reported that this group had the freedom to install their tents on Avenida Juárez, between Reforma and Eje Central.
“We reject any version that ensures that we remove the tents or prevent the group from setting up a sit-in,” said the agency, led by Alfonso Suárez del Real.
He indicated that the protesters were asked to wear face masks, keep a healthy distance and comply with the health measures implemented in the capital during the orange epidemiological traffic light, in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Although this march, which demands the resignation of President Andrés Manuel López Obrdaor, had planned to reach the Zócalo in Mexico City, police from the capital blocked the passage.
