The Municipality of Ciudad del Este keeps the service on alert to guarantee purchases and quality to compristas, through the permanent operation of the authorized Consumer and User Defense offices, taking into account the existence of businesses of dubious operation.
The repetitive cases are of excessive charging via credit cards for products that at the time of delivery do not meet the quality expected by the client or due to differences in price or in the exchange rate.
With the last case in which the Consumer and User Defense office intervened in the shopping Box, the total refund of the amount of 3,142,000 guaraníes was achieved, claimed by an Argentine tourist, this Wednesday, January 25.
The officials of this municipal unit carry out permanent tours in the strategic points of the city to provide greater support to tourists so that they are satisfied with their purchase.
