CDC Study in US Highlights High Risk of Transmitting COVID-19 in Restaurants

On its official website, the CDC does not prohibit people from eating at restaurants. However, they requested that the implementation of the health protocol be well implemented.

The CDC requested that visitors first check whether the restaurant manager is implementing the security protocol from COVID-19. In addition, check that all staff are wearing masks.

Meanwhile, at the restaurant, visitors must wear a mask when close to other people, less than about 2 meters away or when indoors.

Also, when not eating, wear a mask and keep social distancing from other people when you eat, especially those who do not live with you.

Also maintain social distancing when you are in entrances, hallways, or waiting rooms.

Whenever possible, choose food and drink buffet concepts that limit the sharing of cutlery, buttons or touch screens.

The CDC also asks people to wash their hands for 20 seconds before entering and exiting restaurants. If soap or water is not available, use hand sanitizer. Before using the toilet, make sure there is enough soap or hand sanitizer.
