Orlando, Florida – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) today recommended avoiding for the next eight weeks events that bring together 50 or more people.
CDC’s suggestion does not include schools, universities, and businesses.
“Events of any size should only be held if they can be held in compliance with guidelines to protect vulnerable populations, hand hygiene and social alienation. When possible, organizers could modify events to be virtual. ”, indicated the CDC publication.
The CDC guides can help local governments circumvent the different regulations that are put in place to avoid concerts, sports activities or the operation of restaurants, among other things.
