WASHINGTON – Health officials stated delta variant corona virus case continued to experience a surge and reached about 83% of the Covid-19 infection of United States (US).
This is a dramatic increase from two weeks ago, when the delta variant made up about 50% of the genetically sequenced coronavirus cases.

“The best way to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 variant is to prevent the spread of the disease. Vaccination is the most powerful tool we have,” said Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), at a hearing in the US Senate Tuesday (20/7).
The delta variant is the result of a mutation in the corona virus, and is more easily spread than other variants. This variant was first detected in India but has now been identified worldwide.
