BEIJING, June 8 (Xinhua) — The China Development Bank (CDB), one of the country’s specialty banks, has extended 30.6 billion yuan (4.59 billion U.S. dollars) in loans over the past five first months of the year to support the country’s agricultural sector.
These loans are intended for the construction of agricultural infrastructure, the seed industry and rural industries, the bank said.
As a next step, the bank pledged to better leverage financial services and products to ensure the security of grain and the supply of essential agricultural products to China.
BDC was founded in 1994 to provide financing for major national projects and development strategies. End
