CD Projekt Red is working on a brand new The Witcher game

CD Projekt Red has now revealed that they are working on a brand new The Witcher game.

The studio has shown a picture depicting the Witcher emblem covered in snow, along with text that says it is about the beginning of a new saga. It is currently unknown if the witch Geralt will appear to any extent in the new game.

CD Projekt Red has said that the new game will be developed in Unreal Engine 5 instead of the studio’s own Redengine which was used for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (which was released in 2015) and Cyberpunk 2077 (which was released in 2020).

When the next The Witcher game is likely to be released remains to be seen.
