CD Projekt RED Community Director Marcin Momot has revealed that Cyberpunk 2077’s free 2.0 patch will be released before the release of Phantom Liberty. In other words, the update will be released before September 26th.
Update 2.0 will bring some major changes, so Momot suggested that you go through the current version and then compare with the updated one.
Among the most important improvements of the patch are the improvement of the police and the combat system, the change in the skill system, as well as the introduction of gunfights on cars. More details will be announced later.
As for the story content, players will receive it in the paid add-on Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. Its release will take place on September 26th.
