Adam Kiciński, CEO of CD Projekt, recently gave a rather comprehensive answer interview, in which he betrayed his company for the foreseeable future. He was asked whether they intended to buy out smaller development studios or whether they wanted to be taken over by a larger company:
We are not interested in purchases that would only aim to include the acquired companies in our group and consolidate their financial results. We don’t see the value in it.
We have always had a clear position, also supported by the regulations included in the statute: we are not interested in being included in any larger entity.
We have worked our whole lives to get to the position we have now. And we believe that in a few years we will be even bigger and stronger. We have ambitious plans and we are passionate about what we do. We value independence.
As a reminder, I would like to add that Kiciński will serve as CEO only until January 1, 2024. Later, he will move to the position of CSO and then sit on the supervisory board. However, he assures that these changes will not in any way affect the functioning of the company.
He also adds that although they do not intend to release anything in 2024, there will be many side collaborations with other companies on the market. We’re probably talking about comics or anime such as Edgerunner.
The premiere of Starfield can easily be considered one of the most important market premieres in 2023. Unfortunately, after the initial hype, enthusiasm quickly faded and players began to notice more and more shortcomings of Bethesda’s new work.
Months passed and players were running out of patience. The too slow pace of changes in the game began to cause reviews on Stem to slowly change from positive to mixed. Finally, if we look only at the ratings from the last 30 days, we will see only 31% positive.
This is a really bad result and even the price reduction (from PLN 349 to PLN 244) did not make Starfield gain any ground in the eyes of players.
But is this a 31% game? Probably not, but buyers had great expectations for this title, which were further fueled by the game’s creators themselves. And it turned out the way it turned out, as we all witnessed.
User RavenwestR1 shared the fruit of his hard work on YouTube. It’s a quite carefully reproduced trailer of GTA VI in GTA V. We have all the important scenes there, so you can clearly see a huge leap in terms of both graphics and character models.

The Digital Foundry editorial team once again decided to summarize the past year. They did this, among others: by selecting, in their opinion, the best games in terms of graphics. Interestingly, Cyberpunk 2077 was quite high on the list.

Valve, like every year, decided to provide a small summary of the past 12 months in its store. So it provided a list of best-selling games. However, it was not done in a classic way, with division into individual items, but certain ranges were inserted in random order.
