Murder of a woman IW’s initials (31) at a hotel in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, were caught on CCTV cameras. The police are now chase the perpetrator.

From CCTV footage obtained detik.com, the perpetrator entered the hotel on Jl Johar, Menteng, Central Jakarta on Wednesday (26/5/2021) at around 13:37 WIB. Before entering the victim’s room, the perpetrator had to go to the toilet in the hotel lobby.
After that The perpetrator entered the victim’s room by using lift. The perpetrator entered the victim’s room at 13:52 WIB.

At around 14:37 WIB, the perpetrator came out of the room and left the hotel. In CCTV footage, the perpetrator is seen wearing a knee-length jacket and pants and carrying a sling bag.
The victim was first found dead by security and witnesses who were also friends of the victim. The victim was found dead naked and head covered with 3 pillows.
Police said the alleged victim was killed by a date. Previously, the victim hadbooking the room for 3 days.
“It is suspected that the perpetrator was one of his acquaintances through a social media application,” he added.
