PROFILE FOR THE MISSION: DIGITAL MEDIATION
VOLUNTEERING FROM SEPTEMBER 2021 to APRIL 2022 – 7 MONTHS PART-TIME (28H)

The CCO is looking for a volunteer in Civic Service to facilitate digital artistic and cultural mediation actions
and strengthen links with audiences. The mission of civic service will be to support the process of involving young people and
adults from working-class neighborhoods in actions aimed at strengthening their capacity to act in a digital society, with a
eco-responsible and aware of user-friendly uses: free software, collaborative tools and artistic expression.
The CCO conducts artistic workshops and shared artistic creations (plastic arts, upcycling, design
textile, performing arts) and is developing the digital culture component including workshops, internships, training, from initiation to
further training in various fields. This digital project includes the creation and animation of a manufacturing workshop
solidarity, a resource center and a digital museum.

PROPOSED MISSIONS
APPROXIMATELY 90% OF THE TIME

In cooperation with the digital mediator, he supports the implementation of digital practice workshops (discovery /
initiation / improvement) and participates in the definition of the pedagogical protocol in conjunction with the cultural action officer.
• Learn about new practices to be implemented in the workshop.
• Assists and supports different audiences in the appropriation of digital tools through mediation actions
(animation and design of digital practice workshops, fun, artistic, technical, etc.)
• Proposes appropriate initiation and support actions allowing audiences to understand the potential of
computer-aided object-making tools applied to their needs: repair, reconditioning, etc.
• Promotes rendering and productions to participants and partners.
• Co-designs, in conjunction with the artists involved in the Pole, co-facilitated workshop formats.
• Participate in the development of audiences and their involvement in actions
• Proposes mediation actions with local partners and residents to develop audiences with regard to
proposed actions (workshops, internships, events, conferences, artistic residencies, etc.)
• Facilitates the connection between artist-speakers, partners and the public.
• Participates in the organization of regular public meetings and events and in their communication to target audiences.
• Leads the participation of groups of residents and associative partners to the collaborative website BuersCroixLuizet.fr or
any other collaborative web support.
• Facilitates the transmission of actions carried out by the production of reports or other multimedia content with
inhabitants.

Monthly indemnities of € 472.97 with full social protection by the State and € 107.58 by the CCO
