Last Wednesday, at the Verchant estate, in Castelnau-le-Lez, the CCI Hérault organized his traditional vows partly face-to-face, but also, because of the health crisis Covid-19, live on social networks.
A CCI always mobilized
The president of the departmental CCI, André Deljarry, took the opportunity to recall the mobilization in favor of companies during the health crisis, to discuss the economic issues currently at play, but also to affirm that the institution intends to hold its role of support and facilitator in the recovery phase.
The new Business School takes shape
The CCI also wanted to outline the major projects which, health crisis or not, motivate its action, including the construction of the new Montpellier Business School.
André Deljarry returned to the sites that await the CCI: “With the mayor of Montpellier, Michaël Delafosse, we have unblocked the project for the new campus in Cambacérès”.
€ 350 million in economic benefits
The tempo is set: the new school must open for the start of the 2024 school year and will take advantage of the move to increase from 3,500 to 5,000 students.
The consular president estimates that in the long term, the establishment will generate € 350 million in economic benefits on the territory.
Transform the Hotel St Côme
Another major project for the CCI in Montpellier: the renovation of the Hotel Saint-Côme to which the chamber is devoting 1 M €: “We are going to set up a connected reception center for business leaders”, confirms the president.
The CCI very active in Béziers
Finally, the CCI Hérault is also maintaining its projects for Béziers (see below): “As you can see, we are maintaining all our projects to support activity in 2021”, confirms André Deljarry: “The CCI Hérault will always be a force. of proposals ”.
> In Béziers, the CCI is continuing its program to renovate the exhibition center. Modernize, the rehabilitated site will be inaugurated this summer. Another delivery expected in the Biterrois: that of the CFA, also largely modernized (for € 5.2 million with co-financing provided by the Occitanie Region): “The CFA will be completed at the end of the year”, confirms the consular president .
