The spiral is broken. Seeking success since 10 November, C’Chartres Métropole HB dominated Dunkirk 31-28, this Friday 16 December, for their last home game of the year.
prize Chartres – Dunkerque: it starts to get urgent for handball C’ Chartres Métropole!
After a balanced start, Toni Gerona’s boys raced in the lead until the end against an opponent already beaten twice this season (in the warm-up match and in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France) and narrowly missed out.
With a slight lack of consistency, they left their opponent in the match until fifteen minutes from the end (22-20). But there the Chartrains, authors of a generally convincing performance, definitely took off (28-21) towards their fourth victory of the season, 31-28.
A success to be confirmed from this Wednesday 17 December in Sélestat, to get closer to the middle of the standings before going on vacation.
