C’Chartres Football may have said goodbye to National accession, this Saturday, March 12. An hour after a 1-0 success for leader Versailles against Vannes, the Eurelian formation sank in the storm in Plabennec (Finistère) where it lost 3-0. A brutal end to the series after an almost perfect start to the year 2022 (five wins and a draw).
premium C’Chartres Football as a hunter on the lookout against Plabennec this Saturday
At the red lantern, the CCF, with Clément Chantôme in central defense to compensate for absences, went completely through. Author of a nasty first period, he conceded a contentious first goal (offside?) signed Guillou in the 35th minute of play.
Jean-Pierre Papin’s players tried to react after the break, but without effectiveness. Plabennec then took advantage of two counterattacks concluded by Guillou (57 and 68) to take shelter.
With this defeat, a disappointment, the CCF finds itself eight points from Versailles nine days from the end of the championship. The climb now seems compromised if not impossible…
Next meeting on Friday March 18, at home, for a regional derby against Saint-Pryvé.
