The experienced defender, model of rigor, comes out of a very good second season with the CCF. Coach Jean-Pierre Papin has always placed his trust in him. Among the three axial, the original Varois is the one who has been most often aligned: 22 times in 29 days, while having served a four-match suspension…
But he would pay for spinning towards his 35th birthday. A points record to beat
Finishing with a success in Granville, this Saturday, May 28, would allow C’Chartres Football to reach 53 units and thus beat its record for points in N2, 52 at the end of the 2018-2019 season. But, after a successful outing at home (1-1 against Vannes at 10 against 11), it is not certain that Jean-Pierre Papin’s proteges will have the resources to win him and confirm the 2-1 of the go. On vacation after the match, the Euréliens will present themselves with a reduced workforce and will face an opponent still concerned. If the Normans have almost both feet in N2, they still have to take a point to avoid an improbable and unfortunate set of circumstances that would send them to N3.
