Arriving at the end of December 2021, just before a spectacular recovery of the CCF, the former coach of Versailles, Poissy or Beauvais leaves without bitterness after ten months in Chartres.

“It will remain a small year of happiness to meet President Gérard Soler and JPP, who has become a friend. We must not forget that only a team that had an exceptional season prevented us from climbing last season. This year, given the staff problems, I would say that we have saved the furniture. The JPP does not start with a failure, it has taken the club to a new level, especially in terms of notoriety. It was extraordinarily lucky for Chartres to have him here. I was united, I tried to give him a broader reflection and I have always strengthened him in his choices. “

At 63, Thierry Bocquet does not rule out a new challenge as an assistant of one size or as a number one, “but it must be a good project”.
In the meantime, he wishes full success at the CCF where Pierre-Yves David will rely on Robin Moreau, the physical trainer, and Adrien Gato, the goalkeeper coach.
