New Delhi – Congress leader and former Union Minister Jagdish Tytler has been charged with murder by the CBI in connection with the Sikh massacre in Delhi after the assassination of Indira Gandhi, in which three people were killed by fire at the Pul Bangash Gurdwara. Thakur Singh, Badal Singh and Gurucharan Singh were killed in the violence that took place on November 1, 1984. The indictment states that Tytler instigated the assailants. The CBI had submitted 3 reports giving a clean chit to Tytler (79) in the case, but all of them were rejected by the court. On December 4, 2015, the investigation was restarted as per the order of the court. The investigation was conducted under the supervision of the court.
