Cavani made his debut with Boca Juniors on a magical night
Uruguayan Edinson Cavani made his first mark with the Argentine team Boca Juniors, as he scored the winning goal at the expense of Platense, with three goals to one, in the first round competitions in Group Two of the Professional League Cup.
Cavani scored his first goal, the second for his team, at the famous Boca stadium, “La Bombonera”, while Ezequiel Theballos and Christian Medina scored the other two goals, so that the Uruguayan player ignited the stands.
Cavani had moved to the Argentine club Boca Juniors, after he terminated his contract with Valencia, Spain, where he will continue his journey with his new team until December 2024.
The 36-year-old has an amazing professional experience in European stadiums, especially with Paris Saint-Germain, with whom he achieved many local titles, in addition to his wonderful experience with Napoli, Italy.
