The Uruguayan shooter has had a rich career, after which he left Palermo, Naples and Paris Saint-Germain, where he worked for seven years, after leaving his mother Danubia.
Cavani played the role of gunner in all these clubs, beating 20 league goals in three years in Naples and twice in PSG – three times as the top scorer.
After last season, however, there was no extension of the expiring contract between Cavani and PSG, but he nevertheless left the French big club as the best scorer in history, when he recorded 200 accurate hits in 301 competitions.
The 33-year-old striker will want to add more goals in Manchester United, with whom he signed a one-year contract with an option for the next season. Cavani would certainly like to follow in the footsteps of former teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovič at Red Devils, who won 29 times during 53 matches.
