Cava de’ Tirreni, thieves on the loose: two robberies in 30 minutes

Double theft on Thursday night in Mazzini Course and Saint Lucy Of Cava de’Tirreni. In both cases, the thieves escaped with a meager loot. From a ground floor terrace, the bandits reached the first floor of an apartment in Mazzini Course. They raised the shutter and with an iron stake they broke down the frame of the room used as a study. Despite the beep of the alarm linked to the video surveillance, activated by the owners of the house who were out of the region at a son’s house, a single man, equipped with a hat with a visor, entered the house and in seven minutes he overturned the contents of the drawers and cupboards. The thieves found very little: a few valuables and a few pennies. The toll of the theft, which took place half an hour later, was also low, between 9.30pm and 10.15pmin Saint Lucia.

The hypotheses

It is not excluded that it is the same gang travelling on board a Audi station wagon grigia. Not even in Santa Lucia, during the burglary of the thieves, were the owners present in the house. Same modus operandi as in Corso Mazzini.
