Muwafi said during his program “My Lord, Increase Me in Knowledge”, broadcast on Sada Al-Balad channel, that dizziness when walking may indicate a problem in the central nervous system.

The professor of critical care medicine added that the central nervous system consists of the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles located in the extremities of the body.

He emphasized that dizziness while walking could be an indication of peripheral neuropathy, a disease that is common in diabetics, as a result of high blood sugar.

Mowafi concluded his speech by pointing out the ease of diagnosing the cause of dizziness when walking through a clinical examination and conducting a set of medical tests, such as muscle drawing.
