Jakarta – Global warming is an increase in the global surface temperature of the earth. The existence of global warming certainly greatly affects nature and also the survival of the creatures in it.

The occurrence of the greenhouse effect comes from human activities, such as burning factory waste, burning garbage, motor vehicle fumes, burning land and so on.
Carbon dioxide gas (CO2) from the combustion will be retained in the atmosphere layer at an altitude between 10-20 km above sea level. The buildup of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, will hold heat from the earth’s surface to escape, so it is called the greenhouse effect.
Simply put, the greenhouse effect is defined as the heating process that occurs when certain gases are trapped in the Earth’s atmosphere.

1. The extinction of several species of animals and plants

Efforts to Combat Global Warming
Efforts that can be done, to prevent and overcome the impact of the existence of global warming, among others:
1. Do not carry out illegal logging, and deforestation (deforestation).
2. Provide education so that people understand about the meaning and impact of global warming.
3. Carry out reforestation (greening activities), and expand land for green plants and plants. This is done, because plants are able to absorb carbon dioxide gas, as part of the photosynthesis process.

5. Reducing the use of coal, gasoline, and other organic fuels.
